Since yesterday morning the mountains near Bozeman and Big Sky got a trace to an inch of low density snow with none elsewhere. This morning, temperatures are single digits below and above zero F, and wind is from the northwest-west at 5-20 mph with gusts of 20-30 mph. Today temperatures will reach teens to low 20s F with moderate west-northwest wind at 15-30 mph. Snow will arrive tonight and stay through Wednesday. By tomorrow morning 4-6” of new snow is possible throughout the forecast area.
Yesterday the mountains near Bozeman and Big Sky got 1-2” of low density snow. Today you probably want a couple extra warm layers with the arrival of arctic air. This morning, temperatures range from below zero to low teens F, and wind is northerly at 5-15 mph with gusts to 25 mph. Near West Yellowstone wind is 15-25 mph with gusts to 35 mph. Today skies will be partly cloudy with less than a half inch of light snow falling. Temperatures will reach teens F with north-northeast wind at 5-20 mph.
There are 1-2” of new snow in the mountains around Bozeman and Cooke City with only a trace elsewhere. Temperatures are in the teens F. Light winds are generally blowing out of the north and east, with moderate winds in the Bridger Range. Winds will pick up a little bit today and shift northwesterly in the Bridger Range, staying northerly and easterly elsewhere. High temperatures will be in the teens and 20s F. Snow flurries will end this morning without significant additional accumulation.
Mountain temperatures dropped below freezing overnight and are in the high 20s F this morning. There is no new snow to report. Winds are 10-20 mph out of the south and west, with gusts of 30-40 mph. Temperatures will rise into the 30s F today. A cold front this afternoon will bring decreasing temperatures, increasing clouds, winds shifting to the north and east, and light snowfall. 1-4” of new snow are possible by tomorrow morning, favoring the Big Sky and Cooke City areas.
There is no new snow to report, only warm temperatures and southwest wind blowing 10-30 mph. In the Bridger Range, Hyalite and Big Sky the temperatures at 5 a.m. are in the mid 30s F at 9,000 feet. These will rise into the high 40s F today under partly sunny skies. In the southern ranges the temperatures will rise into the high 30s F and drop to freezing tonight, but just barely. It might not freeze in the north. Wind is expected to remain southwest averaging 10-20 mph. No snow is expected.
This morning temperatures are in the mid 20s F in the mountains around West Yellowstone and Cooke City and in the low 30s F near Bozeman and Big Sky. Winds are 15-20 mph from the west to southwest and there is 1-3” of new snow in the mountains near Cooke City and Big Sky. Today, high temperatures will be in the mid 30s to mid 40s F with 10-15 mph west to southwest winds. Cooke City may get a trace of new snow by morning.
This morning temperatures range from 20 degrees F to the mid 30s F. Strong winds are blowing 15-35 mph from the west to southwest and the mountains near Big Sky and Cooke City received 1-2” of new snow. Today, temperatures will be in the low 30s F to mid 40s F with snow levels between 7,000-8,000’ elevation. Winds will be 20-30 mph from the southwest and the mountains will receive a trace to 2” of snow by tomorrow morning.
This morning, there is no new snow, temperatures are teens to low 30s F, and wind is southwest-west at 10-25 mph with gusts of 25-60 mph. Today, temperatures will reach high 20s to high 30s F with low 40s F in the Bridger Range. Wind will become stronger out of the west-southwest with average speeds of 15-30 mph and gusts of 30-50 mph. Skies will be mostly cloudy today with 1-3” of snow possible by mid-morning tomorrow.

Today, temperatures will reach high 20s to low 30s F, and wind will be west-southwest at 10-20 mph with gusts of 25-30 mph. There’s a chance a few snowflakes will fall this afternoon near Big Sky and West Yellowstone. Tomorrow night a few inches of snow are possible throughout the forecast area.

Winds are generally 15 mph out of the west/northwest with gusts of 20-30 mph, except for in the Bridger Range where they are blowing 30 mph with gusts of 45 mph. These winds will continue today under mostly sunny skies. High temperatures will be in the 20s and 30s F. The next chance for a little bit of snowfall is tomorrow night.
